Tyesha rubs her eyes and looks around, muttering to herself that there must be some sort of power outage. As if in objection a nearby street light hisses at her loudly. Examining Yusuf's house again, she sees that other lights are still on. Tyesha pulls out her phone and attempts to contact Yusuf, but the screen remains blank no matter how many times she presses the power button.
Confused, Tyesha puts her device away and continues walking over to the house. Once she's within 30 meters she notices Yusuf sitting on the ground next to the steps.
His face is covered by his hands which are shaking. Tyesha's sluggish attitude disappears as she rushes over to her friend.
There's a brief moment of silence. Tyesha looks at him with a mixed look of relief, frustration, and sympathy. She takes a deep breath and exhales before pulling Yusuf closer in an embrace.
The shaking young man cries into her chest as she does her best to comfort him.
Tyesha blinks at him a couple of times, taking a bit to think about the words he just said (cried) to her. Suddenly she reaches into her pocket and pulls out a small pen-shaped device.
Tyesha stands up putting the voltage detector back into her pocket. She touches the phone's glass screens and notices that both of them are slightly warm. She glances at the blinding street light before turning to look at the beach.
